Racing, Gaming and Licensing: Criminal History Check Process
All persons applying for licences for which Northern Territory Treasury is responsible are required to undergo a criminal history check. The applicant may request a copy of their own criminal history after Police have provided the report and Treasury's deliberations are complete.
The procedure for providing a copy of the criminal history check to the licence applicant is as follows:
- Come into a Racing, Gaming and Licensing's (RGL) office with personal identification;
- The RGL officer confirms the identify of the applicant and that it is consistent with the name on the criminal history check document; and
- The applicant receives the photocopy of the criminal history documents.
Where you can not come into the office in person, please contact Racing, Gaming and Licensing on telephone (08) 8999 1800 and alternative arrangements can be made
